First Eucharist Portraits

My daughter will be receiving her First Eucharist this weekend. She will wear my mother’s dress that she wore as a child. I also wore the same dress for my First Communion. It warms my heart that she chose to wear such an important family heirloom. Today was the first sunny day here in what seems like forever. So after school today we decided to do her portraits.

Eddie and Lauren

I met Eddie and Lauren in March for their engagement session. It was a gorgeous day for March in the Northwoods. They even got me out on the ice for a few shots. We had a great time getting to know one another. I’m looking forward to the big day in June!!

In March my sister’s best friend from high school asked me to come down to her house in the Chicago area to do some portraits. We had a really nice Saturday morning together. We even did some dancing to Ellie’s favorite Laurie Berkner Band CD. Special thanks to Kristin for having me. We go back a long way (can it be 20 years??) and it was so special to hang with you and Matt and the kids.
